Undocumented woman suing Border Patrol agent for sexual assault
A Border Patrol agent is accused of sexually assaulting an undocumented woman in his custody and now that woman is suing.
The alleged sexual assault happened at a Corpus Christi hospital in 2013. The courthouse news service says the woman entered the U.S. illegally from Mexico.
She was injured while in custody and taken to a hospital where she was restrained to a bed. That's when she claims the agent attempted to sexually assault her twice.
The agent was charged with sexual assault, but released due to lack of evidence.
