Uncle Charged with Making Firearm Accessible to a Child

MCALLEN — A boy and his uncle are charged after a shooting puts their own family members in the hospital. Brian Bazan has been charged with making a firearm accessible to a child after police report he gave his nephew a weapon. The juvenile, who is 14 years-old, was handling a weapon when it discharged shooting his aunt and sister. It happened over the weekend on West Quince Avenue. The teen has been charged with deadly conduct and both victims are in stable condition.
