UN and Mexico Join Forces Against Illegal Drugs Cultivation

Mexico and the United Nations have started a new program to monitor illegal drug crops with satellites. The Mexican government wants to find more illegal marijuana fields and two coordinators on drug policy from. The UN said satellite coverage will provide Mexico with more information. More than 55 thousand killings have occurred since President Felipe Calderon declared a National Crackdown on drugs.
