TxDOT Urges College Students To Find A Sober Driver Before Hitting The Town
EDINBURG - TxDOT set up a hands-on display on the UTPA campus to teach students about the importance of having a designated driver. It's a program they called P.A.S.S or Person Appointed To Stay Sober.
College students got to dress up and act out the many phases of a night out on the town. And while the first phase was dancing and drinking at the club... the last phase involved wearing an orange jump suit in jail.
TxDOT says with Spring Break around the corner, they wanted to make sure students were well aware of the consequences of drinking and driving. They hope students will continue to practice the PASS policy for the rest of their life.
