Police Say Man Was Tied & Beaten For Hours

MISSION- Two suspects faced aggravated kidnapping charges after police say they bound and gagged a man in Mission. Police say Edgar Daniel Saaverda and Armando Hernandez kidnapped a man from a Denny's on South Shary Rd. early Monday morning. The victim told Police they tied him up with duct tape and beat him for several hours.
The victim managed to escape to a local elementary school. Police say the act was not random and that the victim and one of the suspects were dating the same woman. It's believed the victim was held under a $100,000 ransom. Police are investigating whether one of the suspects is a Mexican police officer.

Police are still looking for the victim's truck. It is believed to be a 2010 white Ford F-150.
