A duo of suspected robbers in the upper Valley are charged in connection to a series of car burglaries in the area.

Jose Angel Rodriguez, 27, faces three counts of vehicle burglary and one count aggravated robbery, which is a first degree felony.  His bond is set at $280,000 for all charges.

Cristina Lee Munguia is charged with one count vehicle burglary and has bond set at $10,000.

Mission police stress that the public needs to take caution.

"These guys are criminals who look for opportunities to do something." said Cpl. Manuel Casas.  "In one of these cases, they broke the window because there was a purse sitting in the car.  If you leave your purse in the car, there's a very good chance that they're going to burglarize you vehicle, so we urge the public do not leave anything of value that looks good to the criminal because he's gonna break the window.  He's gonna steal everything from you."

Mission PD is still looking for two other suspects involved in the vehicle burglaries.
