Three people , two of them children, are recovering from injuries after a home in McAllen collapses.

The house is located on the 3200 block of South First Street and McAllen Assistant Fire Chief Jim Schultz says it was in the process of being demolished and there was no support for the building.

High winds likely caused the house to collapse on the three family members, a woman, 49, and two children ages 5 and 11, causing injuries of facial lacerations and broken bones.

A city engineer is looking into the collapse of the home.
