Two Brownsville Men Involved In Fatal Accident

New details on the fatal rollover accident, which left one man dead and another seriously injured this past Friday between Brownsville and Port Isabel.
Two young men from Brownsville were involved in that tragic crash.
Department of Public Safety spokes people say, Jesse Marroquin died at the scene, and Lamar Guzman was air lifted to the hospital, after suffering major injuries, when their SUV rolled over.
DPS officials say, the SUV was going south on Highway 48, when it lost control, and flipped.
This accident even blocked off traffic to and from South Padre island for at least an hour.
Now the community is mourning the loss of Marroquin, and praying for Guzman's survival.
Guzman played baseball for Rivera high school, and graduated in 2006.
He was currently attending Texas College.
Friends of both Guzman and Marroquin are now flooding their facebook pages.
for Guzman, there are many "get well" wishes, and for Marroquin, there are "missing you" messages.
DPS is still investigating what exactly caused the crash.
