Tribute In The Sky

Woman's cremated remains were launched as part of 4th of July fireworks show.

A woman who loved watching Kingston, Tennessee's 4th of July fireworks show wasn't there in person this year.

She was there in spirit, however.

87-year-old Katherine Walker died of lung disease in April.

Every year Walker would spend July 4th on her daughter's porch, which offers a perfect view to the city's "Smokin' The Water" celebration.

This year, Walker's family shot some of her ashes up in one of the firework shells as a tribute.

The family has also scattered some of Walker's ashes at the Tennessee Theatre and at a popular Knoxville restaurant.
