Trial Continues in Karate Instructor's Sexual Assault Case
HARLINGEN - It was day three in the sexual assault trial of Carlos Anderson who was a karate instructor for children.
Anderson is accused of sexually assaulting three of his students over the course of three years and indicted back on July 2010. The trial is expected to last through next week as the defense alone has nearly a dozen witnesses to testify. Anderson was charged with sexual assault of a child, aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child. If convicted, Anderson could face between 5 to 99 years in prison.
