Trial Begins for Karate Instructor Accused of Sexual Assault
HARLINGEN - The trial for karate instructor Carlos Anderson was underway on Tuesday as a jury heard testimony on two victims accusing Anderson of sexual assault.
Anderson is accused of sexually assaulting three of his students over a three year period and was indicted back in July of 2010. The charges against him are sexual assault of a child, aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child. If convicted, Anderson could face anywhere between 5 to 99 years in prison.
