Tragedy Support Line For Shooting Victims

Wednesday, January 9, 2013 - 11:41am

After the January 8 tragedy in Tuscon, Arizona the Crisis Response Center in Arizona has formed a special "Tragedy Support Line.

As more mass shootings have taken place since January 8, 2011, such as the movie theater massacre, in Aurora, Colorado and most recently the school shooting in Newtown, Conneticut, the Arizona "Tragedy Support Line" re-opens.

Callers are usually concerned about a coworker or a neighbor who has experienced a tragedy.

Whether it is giving a caller an idea on where to go for help, or reminding them of things they can do for themselves, for however long it is needed, they have someone to talk to.
