RIO GRANDE VALLEY - Latinos are at greater risk of dying from driving while intoxicated, according to a 2010 National Highway Traffic Safety Administration study.
That's why the Texas Department of Transportation is taking action to reduce DWIs and preventable deaths in Texas.
They've released a new educational video in spanish that features first-person testimonials from Hispanic Texas residents who've been convicted of drunk driving.
The video also includes information on DWI laws and consequences.
