Traci Rhode is heading back to the Cameron County jail beginning her probation and the DA requested she serve 180 days in jail.

A jury sentenced her to probation for the murder of her husband Scott in 2007 and that same jury found her guilty of the murder she claimed was a suicide. The probation began on Monday and the DA's office requested her sentence to include the 180 days in jail. The judge granted the sentence and on Monday afternoon the sheriff made arrangements for her to return to the Carrizales-Rucker Detention facility.

Police found Scott Rhode dead in October of 2003 with a gunshot to the head.
