Around 500 golfers from around the country are in Brownsville hoping they're not going to get rained out by Tropical Storm Don.

Five golf courses in Brownsville and Harlingen are being used for the Pan American Golf Association Tournament. Both the men and women are coming from as far away as Chicago, California and Kansas. Officials say, between these 500 golfers, they're spending around $14,000 dollars per day while they're in town just on gas and food alone.
