Tornados Devastate South

Hundreds of deaths reported in wake of violent storms.

Another line of deadly storms has swept through the Southeast, killing at least 213 people, 131 in Alabama alone.

Tuscaloosa was especially hard it.

The city sustained massive damage and numerous deaths.

"We have hundreds of homes and businesses destroyed, and hundreds more damaged," said Mayor Walter Maddox.

An ominous wedge tornado was caught on tape in the town of Arab, where emergency officials say at least six people died.

In Cullman two funnel clouds tore through the town's center.

The courthouse and a church were damaged.

The line of storms toppled large trees and crushed vehicles and homes in Birmingham.

Tens of thousands are without power.

The storms left a trail of devastation from Arkansas, across Mississippi and into Georgia
where a possible tornado hit an apartment complex in Trenton, killing at least two people and injuring many more.
