Three men arrested in bar stabbing incident

San Benito police arrested three men involved in a bar fight which resulted in the stabbing of another man.

On Thursday, September 19th at around 1 a.m. police were called to Black Jacks Sports Bar, located at 294 W. Robertson, in reference to a fight in progress.

When officers arrived a witness informed them that a man had been stabbed in a fight and that one of the suspects had left the bar running down an alley.

Two other suspects, attempting to exit the bar, were pointed out and detained by officers and later identified as Carlos Garza, 23, and Oscar Ramirez, 21, and the third suspect Arturo Garza Jr., 22, was later arrested a few blocks away.

Witnesses say the fight broke out in the rear of the bar with the three suspects stabbing the victim several times.

All three suspects were charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and each received a $75,000 bond.
