Thieves steal pack of Bud Light after smashing car into gas station
Houston, Texas — Some thirsty thieves went to a lot of trouble just to get a cold one. Surveillance cameras caught the crooks driving their car through a gas station. Their only loot? A pack of Bud Light, Larry Seward has the footage.
Thanks to camera's inside this Valero, police have good surveillance video that they're working off of trying to catch the suspects, but so far no arrests.
Around 3 a.m. a silver car, you see there, backed into the front doors of this Valero at El Camino Real at Ramada.
The video show two guys getting out, both wearing gloves and black masks. They're only inside for a few seconds before leaving with one 18 pack of Bud Light, you can spot it on top of the car.
Police say employees leaving a nearby bar actually saw the suspects pull off and get away, fortunately no one was hurt.
The door was closed at the time, but all of this damage for a case of beer leaves many people shaking their heads.
Iqibal Ali, Store Manager, "This doesn't make any sense. It's some idiot and and stupid people, they do, not here but everywhere, man."
Larry Seward, "I've been around a long time and I've seen people do a lot of things for a lot of reasons and there's really no understanding."
As for the car that did this damage police did get a license plate number off that vehicle, they think it was stolen in Southeast Houston.
