Thief Caught On Camera At A Local Car Shop

ALAMO- A robber was caught in the act stealing thousands and thousands of dollars worth of car accessories at one Upper Valley store.

It happened on March 16th, that's when surveillance video caught this robber walking into Car Vision's located on the Express way Frontage Road in Alamo to scope out the goods during the day.
 

the owner told News Center 23 that he left without buying anything but knew where certain merchandise was located so that he and his possy of thieves could return and play bad guys. Police said the bandits came back around 8:30 that night to cut the chain on the gate that's in front of the store, and then around nine o'clock the gang entered the property and cut off the alarm system and tried to figure out a way in.

The back side of the store is all boarded up, but the owner says that the bandits made a hole so they can go in and access the merchandise.


"I feel bad the because it's a very expensive investment and the equipment is pricey. and it affects us a lot because it's a costly investment," said the owner who wanted to remain anonymous.

While the others are outside on the look out, the brazen robber is taking items one by one with no care in the world that he's being caught on camera!
 

"The merchandise is very commercial the owner says a stereo an alarm any one can buy it right off the street or in the black market ."
 

The owner lost more than $20,000 worth of items, and cameras were able to capture a clear picture of the thief. Police said his age is possibly late teens or early 20's and driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
