The City of Weslaco is preparing for their annual Texas Onion Fest beginning on Saturday.

The 22 year-old festival celebrates the Texas 1015 onion which originated in Weslaco and will have entertainment of live music, variety of activities, a Spanish horse demonstration and lots of food stands cooking 1015 onions.
