Some Texas leaders want to pass a law of drug testing before receiving public assistance including welfare. The idea comes from Florida which once required drug testing before receiving welfare and as of now Florida has temporarily blocked the law since October due to the excessive amount of drug testing and only a 2.6% of applicants who did not pass the test.
