Texas Department of Public Safety seizes $7.3 million in cocaine

The Texas Department of Public Safety seized more than $7.3 million in cocaine hidden inside a Tejano group's tour bus.

On Sunday, November 3rd the Tejano group, Zinzzero's tour bus, approached the Falfurrias Border Patrol checkpoint in Brooks County.

During an inspection of the bus 250 bundles of cocaine, weighing 630 pounds and estimated at over $7.3 million, was found in a false compartment near the center of the vehicle.

Eight individuals on the bus were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and the investigation is ongoing.
