An explosion at an industrial plant in Houston has residents ordered to stay in their homes.

Police say a tank at the American Acryl plant in Pasadena exploded and sent Seabrook residents to remain in their homes. The tank contained a toxic petroleum byproduct used in paint and gasoline. Fire officials say a few cases of flash burns and minor smoke inhalation were treated at the scene.
