BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Tenaska has named Manuel Alcocer, of Brownsville, Texas, community representative for the proposed Tenaska Brownsville Generating Station, an electric generating plant under development in the area.
“Having a local community relations representative will assure that Brownsville and Cameron County residents have easy access to information about the Tenaska Brownsville Generating Station,” said Mike Roth, Tenaska director of development.
The Tenaska power plant is to be built on a 270-acre site located at FM 511 and Old Alice Road. The Brownsville Public Utilities Board entered into an agreement with Tenaska for an ownership interest in the 800-megawatt, natural gas-fueled electric generating station which would serve approximately 100,000 area homes.
Alcocer may be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 956.455.1258.
