Two teens accused of stabbing two men near a Mission canal last Wednesday are now formally facing charges.

18 year-old Mark Anthony Sanmiguel is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and engaging in organized crime. 17 year-old Timoteo Enrique Garza faces the same charges in addition to a charge of assault on a police officer. Mission police say Garza drew a handgun on an officer when they went to his home to arrest him, but did not fire the gun.

Bond for both teens is set at $2 million dollars each and police have arrested another 16 year-old suspect involved in the stabbing. Police believe there is a fourth teen who may have left the state.

Mission P.I.O., Jody Tiddle says the stabbing appears to be gang related and the two men stabbed are now out of the hospital.
