HARLINGEN — Two teens have been jailed after police report they stole more than $100,000 dollars worth of jewelry.

Police arrested Dalton Hinojosa and Samantha Lee Saucedo stole the jewelry valued around $125,000 dollars from the SB Jewelry Corner inside the Valle Vista Mall on February 28th. A surveillance video helped them catch the pair stated Sgt. John Parrish, "Recover items of this nature especially this substantial amount, that's always a good thing. I am sure the owner was very appreciative, I believe lot of the jewelry wasn't his, it may  have been people bringing it in to get repaired and so forth, so I am sure this recovery is a big deal."
