BROWNSVILLE - Police arrested 19 year-old Gerardo Mayorga after a car chase ended in a field near Robindale road and finding nearly 300 pounds of marijuana.

A narcotics team had searched the vehicle and found five bundles of marijuana and after further questioning of Mayorga were directed to a home on Epi street and seized an additional six bundles of the drug. Mayorga now faces several charges including possession of marijuana and evading arrest.
