Hidalgo county sheriff deputies are investigating a drive-by shooting near Mission that left a 16 year-old girl in the hospital.

It happened just south of Business 83 and Abram road on Thursday evening when a truck drove up to a house and fired. The girl was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening gun shot wounds.
