Rescued Turtle Gets Prosthetic Flipper

On South Padre Island an amazing story about a 5 year-old turtle named Allie can now swim.
The 27 pound turtle was rescued after being attacked by a shark and was near death from losing three flippers and unable to swim properly. Sea Turtle Inc. created the world's first prosthetic flipper jacket for Allie which was made with a carbon fiber fin which helps Allie swim correctly.
Allie the turtle will grow to be 500 pounds and live over 100 years and officials from Sea Turtle Inc say they will make new jackets as the turtle grows.
