A new state of the art forensics lab is coming to the Valley.

The Business Computer System Department at South Texas College is starting up the lab. It will have tech computers and other equipment to help law enforcement with cases and it will also be available for people to bring their camera and computers to recover data they may have lost. Data could include photos or financial data.

The school is still waiting for more equipment to arrive, before the lab will be fully functional and it's expected to be ready by mid to lat summer.
