Target Scammers Indicted
McAllen, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — A grand jury returned a four count indictment against the two Mexican nationals arrested earlier this year in McAllen for producing counterfeit credit cards.
Mary Vaquera Garcia and Daniel Dominguez Guardiola allegedly conspired to use debit and credit cards with the intent to defraud.
The cards were created using information that was compromised during the Target data breach.
The account numbers belonged mostly to Hidalgo County residents.
