Sweet maple sap is flowing, keeping syrup makers busy.

You pour it on your pancakes and probably don't think about where it comes from, but this is the prime time of year for maple syrup making.

At sugarhouses across Connecticut, you can watch sugar makers turn tree sap into the syrup that many of us enjoy every day.

In Hebron, they have an entire festival that celebrates maple syrup.

The 21st Annual Hebron Maple Festival was held over the weekend.

The town's three sugarhouses were open to the public for tours.

With only two weeks left in the maple syrup making season, many of the other sugarhouses across Connecticut are also holding open houses and and are available for private tours.
