Swinging Airman Sentenced
HIV-positive Air Force Sergeant will spend eight years in prison for knowingly exposing multiple partners to disease at sex parties.
An Air Force sergeant has been sentenced to eight years in prison for knowingly exposing multiple partners to HIV at swinger parties.
A court martial found Sergeant David Gutierrez guilty of aggravated assault and violating his commander's order to notify partners about his HIV status.
Gutierrez will spend eight years in a military prison and will be dishonorably discharged.
The discharge status means Gutierrez will no longer receive the military insurance which has been paying for his HIV treatments.
