Rescuers search for hikers believed to have been swept over a waterfall in Yosemite National Park.
Rescue crews at Yosemite National Park will be back out today searching for several hikers that were reportedly swept over a waterfall Tuesday afternoon.
Witnesses say they saw a man woman jump over a safety barrier to get a better view of the falls.
They began encouraging others to do the same, then slipped into the water.
Witnesses say another may also jumped over the safety barrier to try and help them.
All three people fell into the water and over Vernal Falls.
"Search and rescue crews are along the trail. They are looking along the river for any signs. In addition our rangers and investigators are interviewing witnesses," says park ranger Kari Cobb.
No bodies have been found at this point.
