WESLACO — Police are searching for a group of suspects who used a stolen credit card and used it to charge thousands of dollars to purchase items at a Home Depot. The suspects were seen driving off in a white Ford F-150 truck with an attached trailer and police are investigating this case to see if it is linked to similar cases across the Valley. Officer JP Rodriguez stated, "At this time we don't have an affirmative link to connect our case, out Home Depot case  with any other cases in the Valley. There may be some potential leads at this time that are connecting our case with cases in the upper Valley." Officer Rodriguez says you run a risk whenever using your debit or credit card and suggests you check you bank statement frequently for unauthorized transactions.
