Pharr police and U.S. Custom agents are searching for two suspects they say hit a federal agent with a SUV at the Pharr International bridge.

Authorities are searching for 20 year-old Francisco Maravilla and Antonio Tellez who were driving a red Dodge Durango heading into Mexico on Wednesday afternoon. When the agent asked the driver to get out of the vehicle one of the suspects swung the door open striking the agent and then speeding off. Spikes on the bridge deflated the tires of the vehicle and the driver car jacked another vehicle to get away. Police do plan to charge the suspects with aggravated assault on a  public servant and if you have any information on the suspects you are asked to call Pharr Crime Stoppers at (956) 787-8477.
