Officials say three immigrants found dead on the side of the road last month were smuggled through a Valley stash house.

The three illegal immigrants were found dead along FM 1329 in Duval county are believed to have been hit by a car. Two people were placed under arrest and face several smuggling charges. Officials say the duo was running a smuggling operation out of McAllen and Border Patrol says they work hard to monitor stash houses and there are many across the Valley.

Border Patrol agents say they can track down even more stash houses with the help of the public. If you see any suspicious in your community you are urged to call the CBP hotline at 1.800.863.9382.
