Three men, Andres Nunez, Alberto Alvarado and Arturo Mendoza faced a judge in court on Thursday and are accused of breaking into a stash house and stealing drugs and weapons.

Police report that it was a quick robbery of the home and without the help of a Crime Stoppers call they may have not caught the men. Cpl. Manuel Casas stated, "Certainly Mission police has gone the extra mile to make sure that we have what we call block parties. Where we get the community involved where we talk to them about safety, how to watch out for each other. You see something suspicious you call the police, that is exactly what this person did."

All three men have a criminal history and each man was charged with aggravated robbery, tampering with evidence, possession of marijuana and evading arrest. Nunez and Alvarado were also charged with unlawful carrying of a firearm by a felon.
