BROWNSVILLE - Police arrested two men after a homeowner told authorities the suspects broke into his home and threatened him with a knife.

Alan Medrano and Erik Blanco were charged with aggravated robbery and attempted burglary charges for breaking into a home on Fonsi Drive in the Southmost area. The homeowner told investigators he got home around 4:30 PM and caught the pair inside the home. The suspects threatened the victim with a knife, but then fled the home and into a wooded area. Police were able to find the two men after a concerned citizen called police about two suspicious men in the area.
