A suspect wanted for armed robbery turned himself in yesterday.

Bryan Calzada, 20, is being charged with aggravated robbery after he was caught on tape stealing money from Valley Food Mart #7 in Monte Alto.

The robbery took place Monday night.  Calzada reportedly stole $300 in cash.

His bond is set at $400,000.  Aggravated robbery is a first degree felony.

"Just think what happened two nights ago," said Judge Homer Jasso.  "Armed robbery, that's a serious offense.  Very serious.  Somebody else could have been hurt very easily.  The people at the store were very lucky."

The judge says Calzada's bond was set higher because of his criminal history.

How can he be a suspect when the guy in the video is covered up! My brother would never do such a thing... the cops need to do their job right instead of falsly accusing someone!!!
