Suspect Arrested in Crime Spree

A violent two county crime spree ended in court in Edcouch after police arrested a suspect they say is responsible for a series of stabbing's and burglaries, Joangel Concepcion has the details.
Edcouch police say that 24 year-old Osiris Arturo Espita Jasso appeared in court on Friday afternoon, started a crime spree in San Benito over the last couple of weeks. He stole a vehicle and started making his way up to Elsa robbing a couple of houses along the way. Once in Elsa, police say he stabbed someone with a knife then it was on to Edcouch where he stabbed another person.
Jasso is charged with aggravated assault is a Mexican citizen and has been handed over to ICE agents and Jasso's bail is set at $75,000 dollars.
