Superbowl reactions in the Valley
BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Rio Grande Valley residents joined the rest of America in saying goodbye to football season last night. The results of the big game prompted mixed emotions here.
"I got excited because my husband was rooting for the 49'rs but they lost."
"Ravens played good."
Beyonce's halftime show, both solo and with Destiny's Child, got positive reviews.
"Beyonce's performance was pretty good."
"It was a great performance i think it was better than last year’s"
"The Superbowl game is not only known for its football its also known for its commercials."
This year every national 30 second commercial in th4e super bowl telecast cost almost four million dollars. For the most part, Brownsville residents thought advertisers got their money's worth.
"The commercials were really good some of them were stupid but there were some good ones. My favorite was the taco bell one."
Now...football fans will have to go through their annual withdrawal symptoms until the 2013 nfl regular season begins next September.... Reporting from Brownsville, Abigail Camilo, KVEO Newsceter 23.
