Sullivan City Officials to Review Actions of Former Police Chief
SULLIVAN CITY — There are finally some answers involving the investigation into ex-Sullivan City Police Chief Jose Anaya. City Manager Judy Davila says after the firing of the former chief the city wanted to continue their investigation into Anaya's action as chief, "I can't comment on the specifics, but we have asked the sheriff's department to review the formal actions of the chief during his tenure and they will review the documentation and decide whether it is criminal in nature."
Davila says the city passed the investigation to the sheriff's department because they wanted a neutral third party. Anaya still hasn't contacted the city since his dismissal two weeks ago and he did not answer any calls from NewsCenter 23.
