SULLIVAN CITY — Sullivan City leaders report that they are in the final stages of hiring a new police chief as five finalist are now going through extensive background checks at this time. The position has been surrounded with corruption and misconduct in the past years and City Manager Judy Davila reports that the city plans to announce the new chief in January.
