A new study finds that complaints against the Border Patrol have resulted in little action being taken.

The American Immigration Council released the study. It says that over a three year period, there were more than 800 complaints filed. Of the more than 800 complaints, discipline was handed in just 13 cases. 324 cases were still under investigation.

These incidents were limited to within 100 miles of the Southwest border with Mexico. The majority of the complaints dealt with excessive force or physical abuse.

According to the report, the Border Patrol took about four months to make a decision on the complaint.
