Storm Devastation

Today's tornado outbreak brought disastrous results to towns, especially to the small town of Henryville, Indiana.

A day of watches and warnings gave way to this devastating reality.

A bad dream for thousands across tornado alley as dozens of powerful tornados ripped-apart communities from Indiana through Tennessee.

The hardest hit was the small town of Henryville, Indiana.

Entire neighborhoods were wiped away and cars were tossed in the streets.

Local schools had just sent students home early when the twister hit.

Many students rushed back inside their schools for safety while others rushed to the open arms and storm shelters of neighbors.

Those who survived are now trying to remind themselves of what’s important.

Though they stress, their will is stronger than the winds as they begin the long difficult work of recovery here.
