Some folks in Cameron county are uneasy about a voter ID bill that would require a photo ID to cast their vote, Matt Fernandez has the details.

A voter ID bill is currently under construction that will have a big impact at the voting polls which would require a picture ID at the time they vote in addition to your voter registration card. We found mixed emotions with several people about having to show their ID when going to the polling sites. Cameron county Democratic Chairman, Gilbert Hinojosa, says that the passage of the new bill would hurt voter turnout by up to 10%.

Texas representatives have delayed a decision on the bill, but it is likely to come up for a vote again on Wednesday.
