AUSTIN, TX (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — State Representative Rene Oliveira reportedly suffered only minor injuries in a car accident this morning in Austin.

Mr. Oliveira (D-District 37) was on his way to the Capitol when the accident occurred and went to a hospital with minor neck and shoulder pain. Mr. Oliveira is one of the authors of pending legislation that would bring a medical school to the Rio Grande Valley.
