The Texas Department of State Health Services has ordered Sangar Fresh Cut Produce out of San Antonio to stop production and recall its product.

The Health Department has linked a small number of cases of Listeriosis to produce, specifically celery, handled by Sangar. DSHS says produce from the company is shipped in bulk so grocery store shoppers will likely not be affected. However, they warn people to wash all produce thoroughly before consuming it.
