State Gas Prices Continue to Rise

AAA Texas is calling the run up in gasoline prices the fastest one week increase since Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans.

Across the state the average price at the pump is now $3.30 per gallon for regular unleaded gas. The highest cost for gas is in El Paso and the lowest in Amarillo with the average in the Valley at $3.29 per gallon. That is .02 cents higher than Wednesday and .30 cents higher than two weeks ago.
